GES EXPO 2018
Gombe Education Service (GES) includes:
Scooby-Doo Daycare and Nursery school, Gombe Junior School, and St. Andrew Kaggwa Gombe High School. It is the policy of the education service to organize an annual brand activity which brings all the schools together under a particular theme. However, annually, GES shall be holding a SCIENCE EXPO.
This year, the education service held a “SCIENCE, MATHS & ART Expo”under the theme:“Science in Skilling Uganda”.
This has been aimed at:
1. Assessing the holistic and continously enriched curriculum offered,
2. Igniting & appreciating learners’ creativity & innovation, and
3. Creating a multi-talented employable workforce.
The science expo has been organised under various sub themes including: waste managment, eco-friendly homes, science innovations, technology/robotics, communication, building engineering, applied mathematics & business and art, putting into consideration the aspect of originality.
The government’s desire to skill Ugandans coupled with our quest to be a center for science and making global impact motivated this year’s theme. We hope that, with such avenues, we shall empower our learners to be ready to solve problems and also build capacity that will later skill others out there.

WHAT MAKES SCOOBY-DOO A UNIQUE CENTER/SCHOOL?
The location of the center is traffic free and fresh.
The facilities are child friendly and safe for the children.
Parental care towards the children is provided.
Meals are served warm and fresh (balanced diet).
All meals (early morning tea, breakmeal and lunch) to be provided by the center for all children (half&full day learners). The full day learners get the evening tea after the afternoon nap.
All scholarstic materials are provided by the school.
Transport is available for up to 10km from the school.

CHILD PICK-UP
Children are picked and dropped every day, Monday to Friday. Some are dropped home after lunch and others in the evening.
child pick-up-It's only and always at Scooby where children travel to school in small and convinient vans,thus not making them tired.
All persons collecting children from the center at anytime will carry the child’s ID which will be provided by the center. Passport photos of two people whom you would wish to pick your child other than you must be provided.

FEEDING
Feeding at Scooby takes the second position below academics and it's always enjoyed by everyone around.
We have the best diet ever where by our children enjoy every type of meal that is good for their healthy as you can witness in the photos below.
We always provide our children with bananas 1 hour to break which keeps them comfortable until break time.
At the centre we focus alot on children's feeding that's why we provide them with balanced,delicious and nutritious food every day.
Scooby-Doo feeding is well balanced. Meals are so delicious,nutritious and are enjoyed by all children at the centre.Meals are changed every day following the designed menu by the Nutritionist.
The center provides all meals as prepared by the nutritionist to children. For Day Care children, parents will fill forms showing their children’s favorite feeding formula.
Parents are allowed to check and observe their children’s feeding and hygiene.
